Dr. Premarathna Disanayake is a Senior Lecturer (Grade I) and a prominent specialist in Sociolinguistics and Language Planning. Having completed his advanced research in Japan, his work examines the complex relationships between language policy and socio-political shifts in Sri Lanka. He is actively involved in postgraduate coordination and has a long-standing commitment to cross-cultural linguistic studies.
