Sri Lanka Journal of Linguistics

The Sri Lanka Journal of Linguistics is a peer-reviewed, biannual academic journal published by the Department of Linguistics, University of Kelaniya. The journal aims to promote high-quality research in linguistics and related interdisciplinary fields, with particular emphasis on Sri Lanka and its languages.

The Translation Circle of the Department of Linguistics at the University of Kelaniya successfully hosted the official book launch of ‘Pratīkṣā 08’ on May 8, 2026. Held at the K14 auditorium of the Faculty of Humanities, the event marked a memorable day of words, creativity, and celebration. The Department of Linguistics, Faculty of Humanities, University of Kelaniya, successfully held the Certificate Awarding Ceremony for the Diploma in Tamil (Batch 15) and Diploma in Translation and Interpretation (Batch 13) on Sunday, 26 April 2026, at the Sri Dharmaloka Hall, University of Kelaniya.
